I particularly remember one game when he suddenly started dancing for the fans, causing everyone around to burst into laughter. That moment transformed the atmosphere in the stadium, and I still recall it vividly.
Examining the Criteria for the Hall of Fame
Now, returning to the topic of Hall of Fame criteria, it’s true that the selection standards for special honors include achievements in literature and reporting. However, whether a mascot like Tsubakuro fits into that category is questionable. Nonetheless, the fact that he has entertained audiences in the stadium for over 30 years is a unique achievement that sets him apart from other “affiliated individuals.” There’s no doubt that Tsubakuro has built a relationship with fans and is a beloved figure.
