While discussing Shinobu Sakaguchi with a friend, it hit me—could he possibly appear in NHK’s morning drama “Anpan”? My friend had the same question, and we exchanged various opinions on the
matter. I heard that there are few benefits for Sakaguchi to participate in NHK’s morning drama, especially since the pay is relatively low. After all, he has already achieved significant success and probably doesn’t need to earn that much money. Considering his pragmatic nature, it might be quite challenging for him to commit to a long-term schedule. I recently watched one of his variety shows, and as always, his talk was engaging and captivating. I particularly enjoy his expressions when he discusses everyday life and parenting. Just the other day, while watching his talk with a friend and enjoying some snacks, I found myself laughing so hard that I almost spat my tea out! That moment was truly hilarious. However, commuting from his current residence in Kisarazu, Chiba, to locations like Kochi or Tokyo for long recordings does seem tough. Considering his lifestyle and family time, it makes sense that it might be unrealistic for him.
