Question from readers:
Is there a possibility that Ryoko Hirosue will retire due to this situation?
Considering Ryoko Hirosue’s Hiatus
Recently, news broke that Ryoko Hirosue will be taking a break from her activities to focus on treatment for bipolar disorder and hyperthyroidism. As a fan of hers, I was a bit surprised. Growing up with her works, it’s only natural
to feel concerned. Understanding bipolar disorder can be challenging, especially if you don’t have someone close to you who is affected by it. I’ve heard that emotional swings can be quite intense, and perhaps her recent unusual behavior could be a result of this condition. However, I believe that by undergoing treatment and making improvements, there is a possibility she could resume her activities.
Hope for Treatment and a Fresh Start
Of course, full recovery is not an easy feat, but taking a break allows her the opportunity to reflect on herself and regain her mental and physical health. I myself have experienced a period of emotional struggle in the past, during which I found it difficult to focus on anything. However, by taking a step back and resting without pressure, I was able to gain a new perspective. I hope she can have a similar opportunity. As a fan, I am eagerly looking forward to her return, but her health must come first. Perhaps it would be best to quietly wait, believing that the day she resumes her activities will come.
