Question from a reader:
Will Okada Saka be unable to appear on Keiba BEAT anymore? Was there any issue between Okada Saka and Sugai Yuka, who is in a similar position to Ito Yuri? I believe she represents a concept that is contrary to the image-up strategy of mahjong and horse racing; what do you think?
The Future of Okada Saka
and Keiba BEAT
Recently, I was surprised to hear that Okada Saka might not be able to appear on Keiba BEAT anymore. I have always loved her bright character and passion for horse racing, and I wanted to see more of her on the show.
Regarding the Relationship with Ito Yuri
I can understand why there are many voices sympathizing with Okada after the incident involving Ito Yuri. She has worked as a reporter for four years and must have faced her share of challenges. I also experience moments when things don’t go as planned while trying to continue with something, and I feel it’s important to remain calm and provide constructive feedback during those times. Okada’s outburst might have stemmed from her own struggles.
Differences with Sugai Yuka
It’s wonderful that Sugai Yuka has been involved in equestrian sports for many years. Her love for horses seems to positively contribute to the show. On the other hand, Okada gives the impression of viewing horse racing as a means to make money, which might be why opinions differ among fans. Personally, I am still a beginner when it comes to horse racing, but I am always captivated by the beauty and mysterious presence of horses. Given that, having someone who loves horses, like Sugai, on a racing program could positively influence viewers.
My Personal Thoughts
Honestly, I don’t know if Okada will return to Keiba BEAT or be sidelined, but I appreciate her unique charm. I often feel the difficulty of continuing with something in my daily life. There are times when I arrive too early and wait outside the venue, and I tend to snack a bit too much (laughs). If anyone has stories or experiences related to Okada or horse racing, or about continuing with something they are passionate about, please share in the comments!
