Question from Readers:
What is the reason behind the old media’s strong support for Shinjiro Koizumi? I’m curious about this.
Relationship Between Old Media and Shinjiro Koizumi
It’s definitely intriguing to consider why the old media supports Shinjiro Koizumi so fervently. While some argue that his looks appeal to a certain demographic, I believe there’s more to it than that. His
presence and communication skills seem to resonate well with viewers and readers, providing them with a sense of comfort. Personally, I often discuss politics with my university friends. One day, a friend asked me, “What do you think of Shinjiro?” To be honest, while he has a noticeable presence, I don’t think he has a particularly strong support base. Nonetheless, my friend remarked, “At least he can hold a conversation compared to other politicians.” Indeed, many recent politicians tend to come off as stiff and formal, whereas Shinjiro seems to present a lighter, more approachable demeanor.
Shinjiro’s Policies and Relative Evaluation
Considering his policies, I can understand the perspective that he appears relatively better when compared to other politicians who focus on dragging Japan’s bond ratings to the bottom. Shinjiro is also committed to environmental issues and often makes statements that resonate with the youth. Of course, I don’t agree with all his policies, but I do see merit in his approach. I believe politicians should meet the expectations of the citizens, and it seems that Shinjiro is making an effort to do just that. However, there are moments where his innocence stands out, making me wish he would take things a bit more seriously. Through conversations with friends, I’ve been able to sense his human side.
