I was really surprised to hear that Watanabe Nagisa recently hosted a volleyball program on YouTube! She’s not just a gravure idol or an essayist; she truly has a variety of
talents. The fact that she’s also thriving as a freelance announcer makes her the perfect example of a “talent.” I remember a comedian saying when I went to see a stand-up show with friends that “a person who can do anything is often someone who can do nothing.” This stuck with me. It makes me realize that someone like Watanabe, who juggles various roles, must be putting in a tremendous amount of effort. It’s impressive to see someone excel in so many different fields, just like her.
