Question from a reader:
Who do you prefer, Watanabe Nagisa or Nakai Masahiro?
About Watanabe Nagisa and Nakai Masahiro
Recently, there has been discussion about who people prefer between Watanabe Nagisa and Nakai Masahiro, and I found it interesting to hear everyone’s opinions. I also have some memories related to this topic. I have known Nakai Masahiro since the SMAP era, and his humor and performances on variety shows always made me laugh. I especially loved his natural remarks and the occasionally clumsy side he showed while hosting “The! Tetsuwan! DASH!!”.
I once attended a SMAP concert, and the excitement at that event was truly moving. When the songs started, the entire venue became one, singing and dancing together. That moment is still unforgettable for me. On the other hand, I honestly don’t know much about Watanabe Nagisa. From the news I’ve seen recently, it seems that her reputation online isn’t very good, which might be affecting my perception of her. However, perhaps because I’m not very familiar with her activities, I can view her without bias. I wouldn’t say I like her, but I also don’t feel inclined to speak poorly of her.
Emotional Fluctuations
Many of my friends are fans of Nakai, but I’ve heard several voices saying their impressions of him have changed due to recent news. Once you get to know the personal lives and behind-the-scenes of people you see on TV, it can create complicated feelings. Because of that, I feel it’s not easy to decide on likes and dislikes. Listening to everyone’s opinions sometimes makes me question my own criteria for “liking.” It’s a bit sad to think that someone who has entertained us for such a long time, like Nakai, can have their impression shift drastically because of news reports.
