Was Nakamaru the trigger for KAT-TUN’s disbandment? He was in the same generation as Kamenashi and they ran together all the way to NHK, right? They were even together during their exam preparations. Kamenashi’s Strictness and the Meaning of Independence
Kamenashi is often described as being strict with both himself and others. Indeed, the quality he demands is high, and that likely adds to the pressure he feels. There must have been some heartfelt reasons behind his decision to go independent. Choosing to leave without taking the agency staff with him might signify a departure from his previous style of activities. When I was working part-time at a judicial scrivener’s office, I also felt pressure related to my work. I remember being so nervous about my first case that I arrived incredibly early. That day, I found myself alone in the office, drinking coffee and indulging in snacks to calm my nerves. Perhaps Kamenashi was also searching for his own place in the world in a similar way.
Emotions as a Fan
As a fan, the disbandment is heartbreaking news. Their concerts were special moments for me. I recall being overwhelmed by their performance at a concert I attended with friends and deciding afterward, “Let’s go again!” The excitement and emotions from that time still resonate with me.
