I’m looking for help to identify an anime that used to air on NHK. I’m currently a high school freshman, but I remember watching it when I was in third grade or so. The story involved searching for black and white striped monster eggs. There were people with curses
who were shunned by society, but I’m not entirely sure about that part. The main character was a boy who was energetic and had a curse that caused him to lose control of his strength. The heroine had voluminous red hair and her curse seemed to be a split personality. I think she had a greenish creature as a sidekick. There were also other characters, like a white-haired girl who started as an enemy but later became an ally, a small old man (did he shrink?), a person with an eye patch, the protagonist’s guardian, and possibly a forest fairy. I can picture their faces quite well, but I can’t recall any specific names. If anyone has any idea what this anime might be, please let me know!
