Question from a reader:
I heard that GACKT is supporting Yamamoto Taro from the Reiwa Shinsengumi. What do you think about his intelligence?
Thoughts on Yamamoto Taro’s Intelligence
Recently, I became intrigued upon hearing that GACKT is supporting Yamamoto Taro. In response to the question about his intelligence, I feel similarly and think, “He is indeed a very intelligent person.”
Discussion about a High School in Shiga Prefecture
The fact that he graduated from one of the top high schools in Shiga Prefecture is impressive. I remember in high school, I had classmates who attended prestigious schools, and I was always fascinated by their stories. Their ways of thinking and perspectives often led to insights that I couldn’t have imagined in my everyday life, and I remember those moments of discovery fondly. However, I also believe that intelligence isn’t solely measured by academic performance. Aspects like sensitivity and humanity, or qualities such as “empathy” and “flexibility,” are also important. Sometimes when I encounter someone making an interesting comment in the streets, I am amazed by their depth of wisdom and experience.
My Personal Experience
Actually, I love both Japanese and American comedy, and there are times when I come up with comedic material while out and about. One day, while having a picnic in the park with friends, we got excited about brainstorming comedy sketches together. In the end, I made a joke saying, “I woke up early to come to the park, but why is no one here yet?” and my friend replied, “That’s just because you got here too early!” We all had a great time. Evaluating intelligence in such a way can be challenging. I believe that beyond academic grades, awareness in daily life and communication skills with others are also essential.
