Question from a reader:
Who exactly is tuki? After seeing yesterday’s post, I felt he has a strong desire for approval. It seems like he doesn’t value his fans much. What do you all think?
Insights on tuki and the Desire for Approval
Recently, I’ve come across various opinions regarding tuki’s posts. The differing evaluations of his age and influence feel
quite human to me. After reading his post, I honestly couldn’t help but laugh. I realized it was an April Fool’s joke, but it seems that some people took it seriously.
Reflecting on My Own Experiences
I also use social media and sometimes worry about how my posts are received. Especially when I see comments or “likes” increase, it makes me happy, but there are moments when I think, “Oh, is this the desire for approval?” I’m in my early thirties and have children, so I’ve settled down a bit, but perhaps when you’re young like tuki, those feelings are more intense. In fact, I remember when I was younger, I desperately wanted to be recognized and would try hard to promote myself. I loved gathering with friends, telling funny stories, and making them laugh, but I also remember wanting more attention. Looking back, it’s a bit embarrassing, but I think that younger version of me wasn’t all that bad.
Understanding tuki
Considering tuki’s influence and feelings toward his fans, as well as his age, I think adults can be a bit too harsh on him. He’s still a high school student, learning and growing. He likely wants to cherish his fans, but perhaps his way of expressing himself is still immature. Criticizing him for having a strong desire for approval feels somewhat off to me. He’s in a phase where he’s earnestly trying to have his existence acknowledged, and I wonder how appropriate it is for adults to criticize him during this time.
What Are Your Thoughts?
How do you feel? If you have thoughts about tuki’s posts or his desire for approval that resonate with your own experiences, please share in the comments. As adults, we should also strive to find ways to express ourselves joyfully, just like he does. I would love to hear your stories and advice!
