Thoughts on the Ryouki and R-chan Incident
Recently, I’ve been following the news about Ryouki and R-chan, and I find myself feeling quite conflicted. The online news reports state that “infidelity was discovered after the engagement was established, leading to a communication blackout,” while R-chan’s video mentions “there were unforgivable actions during the engagement, which led to the decision to
break up” and “I decided to leave on my own.” With these conflicting narratives, it’s hard to discern what the truth really is. This situation reminds me of a time in my past when I got caught up in a friend’s romantic troubles. My friend was pouring money into his relationship, only to be eventually dumped, while his ex-girlfriend seemed happy with someone else. He often lamented, “What was I thinking?” but in the end, it was her choice, and there was little for outsiders to say that would change anything.
Possibility of Engagement Fraud…
If Ryouki genuinely had no intention of marrying, then calling it engagement fraud would be understandable. However, if he was dumped due to infidelity, then even if he received gifts or money, it feels inappropriate to label it as fraud. Considering the risks of defamation, labeling it as “engagement fraud” might indeed be a bit extreme. I was also surprised to learn that R-chan was covering expenses like rent, a car, and even her parents’ implant costs. Her level of commitment suggests she was quite serious about the relationship. Coupled with the drafting of a contract and the discovery of infidelity, it seems like their engagement was tumultuous. If I were in her position, I would likely be unable to remain calm. It’s a painful situation to contemplate. However, after watching Hikaru’s video where R-chan mentioned going silent, I began to wonder if this might signal a glimmer of resolution.
