The anonymity provided by the internet tends to lead to a rise in irresponsible remarks. Sometimes, when I browse Twitter, I am astonished at how information can appear to be true, even though much of it lacks any basis and is merely gossip. Therefore, it is essential for people with common sense to carefully scrutinize information. I have friends who can be swayed by online information. However, he always says, “What I see with my own eyes is everything.” I believe that this attitude is vital. I also feel that it is important to explore the truth behind any information.
Masahiro Nakai’s Position and Response to Slander
For a prominent figure like Masahiro Nakai, it would be possible to hire a lawyer to deal with slander. In fact, I expect that his agency is taking appropriate measures. However, if for some reason that is not happening, I would be disappointed as a fan.
