Question from a Reader:
It seems to me that everyone is being too harsh on Governor Saito. If it weren’t for the affair, wouldn’t he still be alive? I think it’s not good to write private matters on a computer, but what do you think?
Reflecting on Governor Saito’s Issues
Recently, Governor Saito has become a topic of discussion. I initially
supported him, but now I have mixed feelings. I wonder if the issues surrounding him have become more pronounced because of the affair. However, that’s not the whole story, is it?
The Affair and Abuse of Power
It’s true that the affair escalated the situation, but I don’t believe that’s the sole cause. I think the issues of power harassment and abuse of authority are much more significant. For example, I once faced strict criticism from my boss at work, and it really felt like my spirit was breaking. It’s never right for someone in power to misuse that power, no matter the circumstances.
About Public Disclosure of Private Matters
Moreover, I do think it’s indeed inappropriate to write personal matters on a computer. I once shared something private on social media with friends and was taken aback by the unexpected reactions. It was a bit embarrassing at the time. However, writing about personal matters doesn’t immediately lead to problems, and in Governor Saito’s case, the way power is being wielded seems to be the real issue at hand.

Personally, I’m still trying to sort out my feelings about Governor Saito’s issues, but I would love to hear everyone’s opinions. What do you think? How much do you believe that affairs and personal issues affect a politician’s credibility? Please share your thoughts and experiences in the comments!
