Recently, I was surprised to see news about Fuji TV executives being upset. There were rumors circulating about Nakai-san’s relationship, and the victimized woman found herself confused by it
all. It’s quite a bizarre situation, especially when she reportedly asked, “There are rumors going around, but what’s going on here?” I can relate to this feeling. Once, I jokingly asked a friend, “Are you dating this person?” only to find out later that there was no truth to it whatsoever. It’s curious how easily romantic rumors can spread. Especially for celebrities, any small comment or action can create significant ripples, given the scrutiny from fans and media.
Is Love Blind?
It’s amusing to hear supporters claim, “It’s because they’re in love, so it can’t be helped.” Love can indeed make us blind and cause us to lose sight of reality. I remember a time when I thought my ex-girlfriend was “perfect,” but looking back now, I realize that I had lost a bit of myself during that period. Still, it’s a bit perplexing to see people speaking so eloquently about the situation as if they were directly involved. When they express themselves as if they possess inside knowledge, I can’t help but wonder, “Do they really believe that?” Love can truly make us blind.
