What Does It Mean to Get a Notification that Motoki Ohmori Shared a Post?
Recently, when I hear about someone getting a notification that Motoki Ohmori shared a post on Instagram, it definitely makes me
feel a bit excited. I’ve had similar experiences myself. One day, I was surprised to see a celebrity appear in a friend’s story, and it was like, “Wow, I can’t believe I’m seeing them here!” It brought a rush of excitement. However, as some users have commented, it seems that the notification system on Instagram has changed a bit lately. I also receive notifications when posts from people I frequently like get shared. Initially, I thought, “Wow, that’s amazing!” But upon reflection, I realized it was just the algorithm picking up on my interests.
The Influence of Celebrities
Still, getting a notification about a celebrity’s post does feel a little special, doesn’t it? When I see a post from an artist or comedian I particularly like among those I follow, I can’t help but think, “Oh, I wonder what funny thing they’ve said this time?” I love comedy, so I check out various stand-up acts from both Japan and the U.S. It’s always a joy to not miss out on new posts from my favorite comedians. One of my strategies is to follow accounts that I genuinely enjoy. This way, receiving notifications becomes more fun, and I can share those experiences with friends who have similar interests. Lately, I’ve been watching comedy videos with my son, laughing at his reactions. It’s become one of those little joys in my daily life.
