Real Feelings About K-POP and Its Surroundings
Recently, Matsuko Deluxe’s comments about K-POP have been a hot topic. The phrase “a copy of America” is indeed quite provocative. However, after watching her discussion with Mochigori, it seems that her feelings towards K-POP aren’t entirely negative. Matsuko is known for expressing her opinions clearly, so she might have just spoken her
mind at that moment. I also recall Allen’s past tweets. He seemed to have made some anti-Korean statements at one point, but I’ve heard he recently visited Korea, which surprised me. It really shows how a person’s perspective can change over time. I, too, used to have biases against Korean culture, but now I find myself captivated by K-POP and Korean dramas.
My Personal Experience
Since I’ve had more exposure to K-POP, I initially wondered, “Why is this so popular?” but now I find myself thinking, “This song is so catchy!” and wanting to dance along. Sharing these moments with my child has brought even more joy as a parent. Recently, my child said, “I love this song!” and our dance sessions at home have been incredibly fun. There was a day when I was supposed to attend a K-POP event, but I arrived a bit early and ended up buying too many snacks at nearby shops. By the time the event started, I was too full to dance during the performance, which caused a bit of a panic. Such small mishaps have turned into fond memories.
What Are Their True Feelings?
In the end, I can’t say for sure what Matsuko and Allen truly feel, but I believe it’s natural for emotions to evolve with time and experiences. We, too, might find that something we once disliked can become something we genuinely enjoy. What do you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts on K-POP and your favorite artists!
