Question from a reader:
Why did Nakai-kun retire even though he said he completely agreed with it?
Considering the Mystery of Nakai-kun’s Retirement
Recently, I’ve been pondering the reasons behind Nakai-kun’s retirement. He claims to be 100% on board with it, but I must admit I’m still a bit confused about why he decided to step away. I can understand the
desire to retire and live as a regular person, but I wonder if the ongoing buzz from the public was unexpected for him.
The Scenario of Retirement Plans
While chatting with friends about “Nakai-kun’s retirement plan,” I found his storyline amusing and couldn’t help but laugh. The idea of him retiring, taking 2-3 years to relax, and then waiting for fans to hope for his return sounds like something out of a movie plot! I also went through a phase where I wanted to retire, but in the end, I was just too busy with work to even think about “playing.” Speaking of which, I remember when I was a child, I used to be captivated by Nakai-kun’s talks when he appeared on television. His unique sense of humor and slightly clumsy side always entertained me.
Reality is Tougher Than Expected
However, hearing that even after retirement, the public continues to buzz about him and that he is reportedly leading a secluded life in his apartment makes me feel a bit sad. I remember a time when I isolated myself from work stress, and during that period, I felt a profound sense of loneliness. I would binge-watch Netflix while munching on snacks, just reinforcing my feelings of inadequacy. But when the time comes for him to make a comeback, I’m a little excited to see how he will respond. It’s also making me want to take on new challenges. This might be a great opportunity to try things I usually wouldn’t in my everyday life.
