The charm of Nana Okada lies in her presence and acting ability. In “Yuhigaoka no Souridaijin,” her elegant aura is very striking, and it draws you in as you watch. When I see that work, it brings back memories of the familiar landscapes from my childhood. Moreover, in “School Wars,” her interactions with the passionate teacher really left a mark on me. Watching that drama makes me feel that this is what youth is all about, and it somehow lifts my spirits. Looking back, I sometimes regret not pushing myself harder back then (laughs).
