it!” but I’m feeling a bit uncertain. Honestly, in such press conferences, it often seems like no matter what is said, a concrete conclusion rarely comes out of it.
Questioning the Silence of the Innocent
While reading user comments, I couldn’t help but think that it is indeed strange for an innocent person to retire without any rebuttal. Observing such situations triggers my inner comedy lover to think, “This could make a great joke!” When chatting with friends at an izakaya, these topics often quickly turn into material for stand-up comedy. Moreover, the involvement of Bunshun’s false report is definitely an important point. That day, I had plans to go out for drinks with friends right after work, and everyone was buzzing about the news. In the end, discussing who is right or what the truth is over drinks rarely leads to any conclusions.
Everyone Enjoys Differently
Ultimately, I’ve decided not to watch tomorrow’s live press conference. After all, Shosuke Tanihara will summarize everything on his program the next day, and I think that might be more enjoyable for me. In that sense, a viewing approach like my friend’s—”I’ll watch it because it’s trending online!”—could also be fun. By the way, I remember a time when I stood by the TV early before a press conference, only to end up snacking too much because nothing happened. I fondly recall munching on chips while questioning, “Is this really an important moment?”
