Question from a reader:
ADO and TUKI often keep their faces hidden, but does that mean they lack confidence in their appearance? I’m curious if they plan to continue their entertainment activities without revealing their faces.
Reflecting on ADO and TUKI’s Hidden Faces
Recently, while chatting with friends about comedy, we ended up discussing ADO and TUKI. They often choose not
to show their faces, and I wondered why that is. At first, I thought, “Maybe they lack confidence in their looks?” But upon further reflection, I realized that their style might actually be a form of performance in itself.
Reasons for Hiding Their Faces
I can relate a bit, as I used to play games as a child where I would hide my face. Especially with ADO, his unique character creates such a strong presence. His voice and singing style are incredibly distinctive, and by not revealing his face, it seems to enhance his aura of mystery. Similarly, TUKI might be maintaining a certain distance from fans by not showing his face. A friend who recently attended his live show mentioned, “That atmosphere is just amazing!” It’s true that if they were to reveal their faces, it might diminish some of their allure.
The Future of Their Activities
Whether they will continue to operate behind the veil of anonymity is ultimately up to them. Personally, I hope they maintain this style. Of course, as a fan, I do have a desire to see their real faces, but if they value their individuality, that is what truly matters. Speaking of which, I was recently watching a comedy show with my child, and he started playing a game similar to ADO and TUKI’s “face hiding.” He was laughing while covering his face with a cushion and saying, “Daddy, you can’t see me, right?” Watching his innocent imagination made me appreciate the beauty of free expression.
