Is Yuzuru Hanyu really handsome? My kids say he’s super good-looking, but I think he looks pretty average (when just considering his face). Personally, I think Shohei Ohtani is more handsome. What do you all think?

Recently, during a conversation with friends, the topic came up: “Isn’t Yuzuru Hanyu handsome?” I
couldn’t help but respond, “Hmm, isn’t he just average?” It struck me that this is probably a matter of personal perception. When I was younger, I didn’t really care about what made someone handsome; I just had my own ideas about who I found cool. However, as I’ve grown older, I’ve realized that preferences can change over time.
Yuzuru Hanyu VS Shohei Ohtani
While some people argue to forget about Hanyu, I believe his presence is truly special. His performances at the Olympics were breathtaking, and his dedication and passion are truly inspiring. That said, I can definitely see why Shohei Ohtani’s masculinity and his battles in Major League Baseball make him appealing. I admire his strength and determination, and I think he is undeniably handsome. I feel like my own standards for what makes someone handsome have gradually shifted. In the past, I was primarily focused on facial features, but now I find myself more drawn to a person’s way of life and their efforts. Considering that, I think both Hanyu and Ohtani possess their own unique charms.
Tastes Vary from Person to Person
Indeed, tastes are incredibly subjective. There are types like Tori Matsuzaka and Masaki Okada who appeal to a wide audience, but Hanyu and Ohtani each have their own dedicated fan bases, shining as handsome figures within those groups. I enjoy sitting with friends, eating snacks, and discussing our favorite actors and athletes. Even if my standards for what I consider “handsome” might be a little off, it’s all part of the fun.
