For fans of the Hanshin Tigers, the recent performance has been a cause for concern. Many have been closely watching the team’s developments since Kyuji Fujikawa took charge. It’s still
early in the open season, and I try to remind myself that it’s not the real deal yet, but observing the players’ performances does bring a sense of anxiety. In particular, there are growing worries about the starting pitchers. The age of Yuki Nishikawa, the injuries to Takehiro Ohkubo, and the slow recovery of Shun Ito create a situation that feels like “four players down.” While the team is in need of young talent, it’s uncertain how many of these players can meet those expectations. This is reminiscent of the legal world as well; without proper preparation, you find yourself in trouble when you need reliable people the most.
Expectations and Concerns for the Batting Lineup
On the batting side, there’s hope for players like Hikaru Maekawa and Shota Morishita, but it’s concerning that players like Kaito Chikamoto and Yuki Nakano have seen a decline in their performance compared to last year.
