Reader’s Question:
How do you feel about hearing that the popular legal consultation show is coming to an end? Personally, it reminds me of the runners who couldn’t make it on time during the 24-hour TV event.
Thoughts on the End of the Legal Consultation Show
Hearing the news that the popular legal consultation show is ending honestly made me feel
a bit sad. I’ve been watching this program since I entered university, and I especially loved the era when Shinshuke was the host. His candid discussions and occasional humor made the serious theme of law feel much more approachable.
Memorable Moments
One moment that stands out to me is a particular exchange with a consultant. When the consultant tearfully expressed, “I can’t repay my debts…” Shinshuke responded in a gentle voice, “That sounds tough. But sometimes, things can work out, so let’s think about it together.” I remember how the atmosphere lightened at that moment. From that interaction, I felt that not only legal expertise is needed, but warmth as a person is essential too.
The Impact of Shinshuke
Since Shinshuke’s departure, the atmosphere of the show has changed drastically. It’s true that his presence allowed viewers to enjoy the show with a sense of ease. His humor and unique perspective are difficult to replicate by other hosts. Recently, there have been moments where I found myself thinking, “This isn’t as entertaining,” leading me to change the channel at times.
More than Just Legal Matters
The legal consultation show not only provided legal knowledge but also served as emotional support for viewers. In that sense, the show’s end leaves a bit of emptiness. For those grappling with legal issues, the consultations offered there were often a source of relief.
My Feelings
Since I work part-time at a judicial scrivener’s office, I have some understanding of the complexities of law and the feelings of those who are struggling. In this context, I feel the significance of the platform that the legal consultation show provided. It’s unfortunate that the end of the program will lead to fewer opportunities to gain legal information.
Share Your Memories
For those who watched this show, what memories do you have? I would love to hear about your favorite moments with Shinshuke or stories of the consultants that left an impression. I want us to reflect together on the space we had to share our concerns and interests about the law.
