The Mysterious Relationship Between Music and Law
Recently, while discussing music with friends, we brought up the topics of Seiko Matsuda and Momoe Yamaguchi. Personally, I have a special connection to Seiko Matsuda’s songs. I remember studying diligently
during my student days while listening to her “Akai Sweet Pea.” The melody and lyrics provided me with a great sense of strength at that time.
A Memorable Song
The song that stands out the most to me is “Aoi SangoshÅ.” Whenever I hear that song, it reminds me of summer by the seaside. There was a time when I went to the beach with friends, and we sang this song at karaoke. Everyone joined in for the chorus, creating an atmosphere like a concert. That moment is a treasure for me.
Encountering Momoe Yamaguchi
As for Momoe Yamaguchi, I find her songs to be incredibly beautiful. Although I wasn’t a fan, “Ii Hi Tabidachi” particularly resonates with me. During a university class where her music was discussed, the professor passionately spoke about her life and dedication to music. It was then that I first realized the depth of her artistry.

Sometimes, we even find ourselves opening up to unexpected artists. Recently, I’ve been captivated by aiko’s “Kabutomushi.” Her lyrics contain many relatable elements, making me want to listen to them repeatedly.
