Recently, news about Nakamura Shikan’s infidelity has been reported daily. I have a fondness for him, especially since I’ve watched his performances from his younger days, which makes me feel quite conflicted. Talking with friends, I’ve realized that Shikan hasn’t always been like this. In fact, when he first got married, he seemed very devoted, and his affection for Mita was palpable.
