Question from Readers:
Who do you think will be the next manager of Yakult? Names like Miyamoto and Furuta have been mentioned, but what are your thoughts?
Who Will Be the Next Manager of Yakult?
Recently, I was chatting with friends about who might be the next manager of Yakult, and everyone had some interesting opinions. I was particularly intrigued by
the question, “With names like Miyamoto and Furuta being mentioned, what do you think?” One friend mentioned that the moves of Ishikawa Katsuya are crucial. It’s true that how Ishikawa acts could make it difficult for Aoki to take on the managerial role. There’s also the age factor to consider, and it would be a bit awkward for Aoki to give directions to his seniors. It’s kind of funny to imagine a classmate giving instructions to seniors in school. Personally, I think Aoki becoming the manager would be interesting, but if he declines, there’s a possibility of Ogawa GM making a return, which is also intriguing. If Ogawa becomes the manager, it might be nice to see Miyamoto return to the field as the second team manager. It kind of brings back memories of the good old days. There have been comments about Ikemoto’s chances of becoming the manager being slim, but his sense of humor is certainly appealing. He seems like someone who could provide a bit of laughter during games, making it enjoyable for fans as well.
My List of Manager Candidates
So, if I were to rank the potential candidates in order of likelihood, I would say Ikemoto, Shima, Manaka, Miyamoto, and Aoki. I believe Ikemoto’s humor could definitely be an asset as a manager, and as a fan, it’s exciting to think about. While we were talking, we got so caught up in the discussion that I realized I had eaten too many snacks! Those snacks were so good that I couldn’t resist. We were all laughing and calling it the “Snack Conference of Manager Candidates,” and in the end, the snacks became the main focus of our gathering. Thinking about the next manager of Yakult is fun, and hearing everyone’s opinions is interesting as well. Who do you think will be the next manager? Please let me know in the comments!
