Question from the reader:
Are Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani particularly outstanding compared to other boxers?
Attractions of Inoue and Nakatani
Recently, there has been a lot of discussion about Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani. I truly believe these two are the top stars in Japanese boxing. Inoue’s punching power and speed are simply overwhelming to watch, and Nakatani’s technique is
also outstanding. Watching them makes me realize the profound depth of boxing.
Comparison with Other Boxers
There have been opinions about Nishida as well, but I do feel he somewhat pales in comparison to these two. Of course, he is a strong fighter, but he doesn’t have the same commanding presence as Inoue or Nakatani. I was surprised by the opinion that Mirai Asakura is stronger, but it’s true that each boxer has their own unique style and charm. Speaking of watching boxing, it’s our tradition to enjoy snacks with friends while cheering. We often end up munching on too many chips or nuts, and by the end of the match, we’re stuffed. When Inoue achieves a fantastic KO victory, we can’t help but jump up and shout. The excitement spreads to those around us, making for enjoyable memories every time.
