Question from a reader:
Who do you think is stronger, Naoya Inoue or Junto Nakatani? Both have undefeated records and impressive achievements, but when comparing the two, who do you think is superior?
Who is Stronger, Naoya Inoue or Junto Nakatani?
Recently, while discussing boxing with friends, we found ourselves passionately debating about Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani. Both are undefeated
and have remarkable records, so it’s only natural to be curious about who is stronger.
Naoya’s Dazzling Career
First, let’s talk about Inoue. He is truly an elite among elites. He started boxing in the first grade and continued to rack up titles throughout middle and high school. Hearing stories about how he overwhelmed Yaegashi in sparring really makes one think he is nothing short of a “genius.” Watching his matches, you often find yourself overwhelmed by his technique and speed, and his knockout rate is truly astonishing.
Junto’s Dedication and Growth
On the other hand, Nakatani’s background is also very interesting. He started with karate, transitioned to boxing, and made his professional debut after training in the United States. Knowing about his growth, you can’t help but admire his dedication. From not being able to win in karate as a young boy to now being a competitor on the world stage, his hard work is truly commendable.
Expectations and Reality of a Matchup
While discussing with friends, I couldn’t help but wonder what kind of match it would be if Inoue and Nakatani actually faced off. Currently, I think Inoue is stronger, but Nakatani is steadily growing, and I believe there’s a possibility he could compete on equal terms in the future. Nakatani has faced challenges with opponents not wanting to fight him, so I hope that more people come to recognize his skills.
Hopes as a Boxing Fan
As a boxing fan, I’m filled with excitement at the thought of seeing these two face each other. Both are amazing fighters, and just imagining the energy of the match if it were to happen is thrilling. I was also genuinely pleased to hear Inoue’s comment about waiting for the “young man aiming for PFP1” to come along. Now, what do you think about Inoue and Nakatani? Who do you believe is stronger? If you have any memorable stories or thoughts about boxing matches or fighters, please share them in the comments!
