Recently, I was chatting with friends about Naoya Inoue’s matches. Watching his fights feels like being in an action movie, and I can’t help but get excited every single
time. The KO moments are something else; they really make you instinctively exclaim, “Wow!” There have been times when I was watching with friends, and I found myself pausing to munch on snacks in sheer awe (laughs). When the topic of whether a DVD or Blu-ray of Inoue’s fights would be released came up, my friend said, “It has to be coming out!” I completely agree. I believe his matches are worth preserving, and they would be an exciting addition for fans. The thought of a collection being released all at once after his retirement is quite thrilling, actually. Being able to watch highlights of all his fights on YouTube is such a modern way to enjoy them. Sometimes, I sneak in a late-night viewing when everyone else is asleep, getting really into it on my own. During those moments, it feels like I’m right there in the audience, and I can’t help but applaud.
