If his actions were indeed as reported, I must admit I am shocked. We’ve seen
his cheerful persona on television, laughing and inspiring us, and to think there could be such dark stories behind that facade… For a moment, it felt like the world of comedy I cherished was crumbling. Particularly striking was the comment about him allegedly “causing someone to lose consciousness and engaging in sexual acts.” If that were true, it is certainly not something that can be forgiven. As a new father myself, hearing these kinds of stories truly pains me, especially in my role of teaching my child what is right and wrong.
