I’m curious about the reports regarding Nagano Mei’s infidelity. I think Tanaka Kei’s image has also taken a hit, but doesn’t it seem like Nagano is suffering more? Both are affected, but I feel like Tanaka is still somewhat redeemed. What do you all think?

been a hot topic. I was a bit surprised when I first heard about it. She was known for her pure image, so this drastic change in perception was shocking for fans like me.
Differences Between Tanaka Kei and Nagano Mei
Tanaka Kei has always had a slightly flirtatious image, so I think many people weren’t too shocked by the reports. On the other hand, Nagano was seen as elegant and serious, making the impact of her news much more significant. I often thought, while watching her commercials and dramas, “This girl is really serious,” so I was taken aback by the sudden contrast. I remember once, while having tea with friends, we talked about a movie featuring Nagano and excitedly said, “She’s such a nice girl.” It’s hard to believe that someone like her could end up in such a situation.
The Importance of Image
Since she was marketed as a pure figure, the fallout from her image being tarnished is quite substantial. We all have perceptions of people in our daily lives, and when there’s a gap between that and reality, it can be surprising.
