What kind of athlete is Mikhail Shaidurov? I just learned about him for the first time, and he is tall and very beautiful. He looks like a model. It’s been a while since I’ve thought a male athlete was “beautiful.”

I recently had the chance to learn about Mikhail Shaidurov, and I am very
excited. When I first discovered him, I was blown away by his looks. He has a model-like beauty, which is quite rare for figure skating athletes. I couldn’t help but exclaim, “Wow, he’s cool!”
His Jumps and Growth
Shaidurov is particularly known for his impressive jumping ability. It’s incredible that he has a quadruple Lutz! Having dabbled in skating myself, I understand how challenging jumps can be. Coming from Kazakhstan and being coached by Urmanov must have greatly contributed to his growth. Although he struggled with consistency last season, this year he seems to be improving, winning the Four Continents and achieving a positive evaluation for his first quadruple jump in a triple jump sequence. I’m excited to see what he will accomplish next!
Challenges Ahead
However, it’s noted that he still has some rough edges, particularly in his spins and steps. The idea that no athlete is perfect makes him feel relatable. When I try something new, I often struggle at first, and knowing that he is also in a growth process makes me want to cheer him on.

At a height of 174cm, he is certainly tall enough to attract more attention as he progresses. He might even be in contention for a podium spot at the upcoming Olympics! I can’t wait to see his performances. I personally love watching figure skating, especially supporting unique athletes.
