Question from a reader:
I heard that Masahiro Nakai has been experiencing an increase in gray hair. Is this not a wig?
Increase in Gray Hair and Changes in Masahiro Nakai
Recently, I’ve come across discussions about Masahiro Nakai’s increasing gray hair. I have to admit, I noticed a slight change in his appearance on TV. It’s only natural for
our looks to change as we age, isn’t it? I recently spent time with a friend, and I couldn’t help but laugh when he suddenly became conscious of his gray hair. We joked, saying things like, “You can’t fight age!” as we pointed out each other’s gray strands, turning it into a funny moment. Having companions who are also aging makes it easier to accept these changes.
Period of Not Caring About Appearance
I resonate with the opinion that Nakai-san has become “more age-appropriate.” Particularly, the fact that he’s now more “ordinary” seems to reveal a new side of him. In the past, there may have been pressure to always look cool, but now it seems like there’s a bit more relaxation, and he values being true to himself. Personally, I feel like I’ve also become less concerned about my appearance while raising my child. With the demands of changing diapers and naptime, I often find myself going out in pajamas without even realizing it. There are moments when I suddenly think, “Why did I rush out so quickly?”
Everyone’s Gray Hair Stories
That said, the increase in gray hair can sometimes make us feel anxious. I’ve also noticed myself thinking, “Oh?” more often when I look in the mirror. However, sharing “gray hair experiences” with friends and laughing it off helps ease the tension a bit. Do you have any stories related to gray hair or aging? Or perhaps tips on hiding gray hair or ways to embrace it? I’d love to hear from you!
