My friend posed the question, “Even if Nakai-kun is right, what about Fuji’s responsibilities?” So, we discussed how much responsibility the management team at Fuji TV should bear. He pointed out, “In the end, if the management team doesn’t do its job properly, the brand’s credibility will suffer.” Indeed, corporate credibility is vital, especially in the media industry. Since becoming a parent, I’ve increasingly felt the importance of providing trustworthy information for my child. That’s why I believe that major companies like Fuji TV need to have solid management.
Unexpected Discoveries and Emotional Swings
Moreover, the most memorable remark from my friend was, “An apology and a minor salary cut won’t be enough. If sponsors pull out, it will lead to much bigger problems.” That’s certainly true; losing sponsors can be fatal, and the management team at Fuji TV must be wary of that. During our conversation, I found it amusing that we ended up munching on snacks a bit too much—it was a strange moment indeed. While laughing and crunching on snacks, we were engaged in serious discussions. Life is truly interesting!
