Who do you think is the better batter, Kiyohara Kazuhiro or Matsui Hideki? Personally, I believe Kiyohara’s achievements don’t quite match up to Matsui’s, but I’d love to hear everyone’s opinions. Please avoid mentioning the use of drugs.

better batter is an eternal theme among baseball fans. Whenever I hear this question, it brings back a memorable episode from my college days when I went to watch a baseball game with friends. The moment we saw Kiyohara hit a home run, we couldn’t help but shout, “Kiyohara, amazing!” The excitement from that moment still lingers with me.
The Early Momentum of Kiyohara
Indeed, Kiyohara made a strong impact from his very first year. His rookie season showcased performances that seemed almost dreamlike for someone so young. His achievements in the first three years were overwhelming, and it felt like he was a wizard of batting. I remember joking with friends, “If he keeps this up, he might become Japan’s Babe Ruth!”
