Question from a reader:
How many wins do you think Hanshin Tigers’ player Kaidou Monbetsu will achieve this year?
Thoughts on Hanshin Tigers’ Kaidou Monbetsu
Recently, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding Hanshin Tigers’ player Kaidou Monbetsu. Many opinions are circulating about his potential wins this year. I’m also interested in this topic and have given it some thought.
Player’s Situation and My Prediction
Kaidou’s skills are undoubtedly worth paying attention to. However, this year, we can expect the return of other pitchers like Ohtake, Itomasa, and Nishi. This could certainly affect the number of games Monbetsu pitches. My prediction is that achieving 8 wins would be ideal. Maintaining his current form for an entire year will likely be challenging for someone with his level of experience. I also enjoy watching baseball and often go to the stadium with friends. The taste of hot dogs and beer during the game is exceptional. Amidst these enjoyable memories, I keep an eye on the players’ performances.
Revitalization of the Batting Line and the Sense of Victory
So far, it seems that every team has strengthened its pitching. However, there are predictions that the batting line will become more active around May. If that happens, Monbetsu will have more opportunities to accumulate wins. In my opinion, expecting between 6 to 7 wins is reasonable. Of course, if he loses form, there is a risk of being removed from the rotation. In that case, we might realistically see him end up with only 4 to 5 wins. Ideally, I would love for him to achieve double-digit wins, but realistically, 8 wins, or perhaps 9 or 10, seems more likely.
I Would Love to Hear Your Thoughts
Personally, I’m very excited to witness the player’s growth. What do you think? I would love for you to share your predictions or memories about Monbetsu’s wins this year in the comments. I’m looking forward to the readers’ opinions as well.
