It’s true that we haven’t seen much of Nagase Tomoya lately. He was such a captivating figure within Johnny’s, so for fans, it’s quite sad. I still smile when I remember his appearances in variety
shows and dramas. Especially, the roles he played in “Gokusen” and “Orange Days” were truly emblematic of youth.
Retirement from the Entertainment Industry
Recently, news broke that Nagase has left Johnny’s. It seems he has chosen to forge a new path of his own. Such a decision takes courage, and I’m excited to see what activities he will pursue next. However, it must have been a shock for many of his fans given the suddenness of it all.

Back when I was in college, I remember watching dramas featuring Nagase with my friends, and we were all impressed by his acting skills and unique presence.
