Question from Readers:
Is Ishii-san getting a divorce because it seems like things are going to get tough regarding the Fuji issue?
Thoughts on the Fuji Situation
Recently, the topic of Fuji has been all over the news. Especially regarding the rumors of Ishii-san’s divorce, there are all sorts of speculations flying around. When I first heard about this, I couldn’t
help but call a friend. “Hey, what’s going on with Fuji?” I asked. It’s definitely something that piques interest.
The Complexity of the Industry
I agree with the opinions calling for a major reform at Fuji. From the outside, the industry seems glamorous, but the behind-the-scenes reality is fraught with challenges. I have a friend working in the television industry, and the stories he shares are always astonishing. According to him, the relationships within the industry can be incredibly complex, and one can stumble unexpectedly. His anecdotes never fail to entertain me. For example, during the recording of a show, there was a scene where the cast members were joking with each other, but one person remained completely stoic. Everyone around was laughing uproariously. However, that serious individual then delivered an unexpected line that lifted the mood. Ultimately, it turned out that he was the funniest one in the room. Moments like these are what make comedy irresistible.
My Own Experience
When I was younger, I went to see a comedy performance with friends. I remember sitting too close to the front, and the lights were right in my eyes. It was a bit embarrassing, but I was so captivated by the performance that I laughed until I cried. That moment was unforgettable. Since becoming a parent, I’ve found myself enjoying comedy at home with family more often. However, having a child changes your sense of humor. Seeing my child laugh brings me so much joy.
