Hello! Recently, there have been many questions about Ikuko Tanoue, the candidate for the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly. I was curious too, so I did a bit of research. As it
turns out, her name is indeed her real name. It’s quite a unique name, isn’t it? When I first heard it, I thought, “Is this really her real name?” However, after watching interviews where she confidently introduced herself, I was quite impressed.
A moment that touched on her charm
The other day, I attended a candidate talk event with a friend, and Ikuko Tanoue was also there. Her way of speaking was so entertaining that the entire venue was filled with laughter. She shared a funny story from her childhood, particularly about a mishap during a play at her elementary school where she forgot her lines and froze on stage. Everyone could imagine the scene and burst into laughter. Speaking of that event, after it ended, my friend and I stopped by a nearby café, and the desserts we had there were incredibly delicious. I ended up indulging a bit too much. I have a weakness for sweets, and before I knew it, I found myself saying, “Just one more!” which made my friend laugh.
