Recently, there’s been a lot of buzz regarding Fuji TV’s programming executive, A-san. Many are curious about whether he has been involved in any inappropriate behavior in the past. When I chat with my friends, I often get asked, “What do you think?” and end up passionately discussing it.
The Legal Side is Complicated…
While reading user comments, I found
it somewhat convincing that some believe a “non-binding third-party committee might conclude he is not involved.” Ultimately, unless the police conduct a compulsory interrogation, the truth remains elusive. It reminds me of old conversations I had with friends. I remember one time when my friend and I were watching a stand-up comedy DVD, and suddenly, we started discussing, “So, what if we became comedians? What kind of material would we use?” I made a little joke, and my friend burst into laughter! In that moment, I thought perhaps we are all in pursuit of our own version of “truth.”
There May Not Be Just One Truth
However, upon reflection, I realize that truth may not be singular. Many people are likely judging A-san from their own perspectives, and I believe it’s important for us to form our own opinions based on what we see. In that sense, just like conversations with friends, it’s crucial to listen to a variety of opinions and cultivate our own thoughts. That said, during serious discussions, I sometimes find myself snacking too much and ending up with a stuffed belly. When I get home, I often reflect, “I really overdid it again,” but when those delicious snacks are in front of me, I just can’t help myself!
