Reader’s Question:
How long would it take to watch all episodes of Conan, including the movies? Just so you know, it took me over a month to finish HUNTER × HUNTER, and I started to find it a bit boring towards the end, but I still enjoyed it.
Watching Detective Conan: A
Journey Through Mystery and Laughter
You know, the other day I was chatting with a friend about how long it would take to watch all the episodes of Detective Conan, and I couldn’t help but reminisce about my own anime-watching adventures. When I saw that it would take around 8 months (or maybe even longer) to finish Conan, I felt a mix of awe and excitement. I mean, 1161 episodes? That’s like a full-time job! I remember when I took on HUNTER × HUNTER. It was a thrilling ride, full of twists and turns, and I was so invested. But in the last few arcs, I started to feel that familiar sense of fatigue. You know that moment when you’re binge-watching, and suddenly you realize you’re snacking more than you’re actually enjoying the show? Yeah, I definitely hit that wall. I can’t tell you how many bags of chips I went through! But back to Conan. The beauty of it is that each episode is like a little puzzle waiting to be solved. I can just imagine myself cozying up on the couch, snacks in hand, unraveling mysteries with Conan and his gang. The characters are so lovable too! I mean, who doesn’t chuckle at the goofy antics of the Detective Boys? And don’t get me started on the interactions between Conan and Ran—they always tug at the heartstrings while managing to sneak in some comedic moments. If I were to actually dive into this massive series, I think I’d focus on the main story arcs first. I can see myself getting a little overwhelmed with all the filler episodes, much like I did with HUNTER × HUNTER. But then again, it’s all part of the adventure, right? Maybe I could even challenge myself to watch a couple of episodes a day, slowly savoring each case like a fine wine. So, what about you? Have you ever taken on a long series like this? Have any tips to avoid the fatigue or make it more enjoyable? I’d love to hear your stories or any strategies you have to keep the excitement alive while binge-watching! Let’s swap tales in the comments!
