The Joy of Television Back Then
I recall laughing with my family while watching TV when I was younger. Ishibashi’s witty banter and Eriko’s cute reactions were a perfect combination that always made me laugh. Especially, the scenes where Ishibashi teased Eriko felt heartwarming. However, back then, I thought, “This doesn’t really mean they are dating.” I simply considered it part of the skit, and more than anything, their interactions were so entertaining that I never imagined it could develop into a romance.
