Lately, when watching Nijisanji’s group projects, I often think, “I’ve seen this member before!” It’s especially common to see popular male Vtubers taking center stage, which can lead to a bit of a sense of monotony. I can understand that feeling. But when I think about it, there’s usually a reason why these individuals are so popular. For example, they often have unique and interesting personalities, and they tend to be good at communicating with their audience. That’s why they naturally end up in leadership positions more often.
The Importance of Managing Hate
Especially in recent Minecraft projects, there’s a strong PvP element, so the ability to manage hate becomes crucial. Popular individuals tend to attract their share of haters and are accustomed to criticism. This, in turn, may make it easier for them to showcase leadership. Many of them have strong mental fortitude, which allows them to take responsibility and lead effectively. I also feel a sense of comfort and enjoyment when playing games with friends if the leader is a strong character. Occasionally, I might say, “Oh, I’ll be the leader!” but honestly, the weight of responsibility can be overwhelming at times (laughs). It really makes me realize that leadership is not easy.
Favorite Moments
There are so many fun moments in group projects! For instance, I love the times when members collaborate to achieve something or when unexpected laughter arises in certain situations. I get excited every time, wondering how my favorite Vtuber will interact with other members. One moment that particularly stands out to me was during an improvised comedy bit in one of the group projects. A Vtuber, who usually has a cool image, suddenly made a joke that had everyone bursting into laughter. It was genuinely enjoyable to watch. It’s these moments that make it hard to give up on group projects.
