Recently, I was chatting with a friend about BOYNEXETDOOR, and we got really excited discussing their popularity. Especially in South Korea, their song “Today Only I Love You” hitting
4th place on the Melon chart is quite an achievement. In fact, their live performances are hugely popular in Japan, and it seems that tickets for arena-class shows are nearly impossible to get. I once tried to buy tickets with a friend, but due to their immense popularity, they were sold out even after refreshing the page multiple times. It was a bit nerve-wracking!
Members’ Popularity Rankings and My Preferences
We also got into a lively discussion about the members’ popularity rankings, and surprisingly, it seems to be quite balanced. Personally, I’m really drawn to Jehyun’s charm! He has a unique aura in his performances that captivates me. Taesan is also wonderful, and Unak’s smile is so soothing. The fact that there are currently no dating rumors is a relief for fans. It’s reassuring to hear Jiko say, “I don’t date.”

Not long ago, while watching BOYNEXETDOOR’s videos with a friend, we were laughing at their funny moments and interactions on variety shows. Their banter and slightly quirky traits are just so adorable, and we ended up replaying those moments multiple times. It’s those kinds of experiences that make you want to support them even more. On a personal note, I recently set out early to attend an event for an idol I’m interested in, but I ended up getting too hungry while waiting and bought too many snacks at a nearby convenience store.
