I was talking with friends, and Shohei Ohtani came up in our conversation. He is an amazing player, but after hearing some recent comments, the topic of whether he wants his child
to become a child actor has surfaced. In my opinion, I don’t think it’s very likely.
Business Expansion in Mom & Kids Fashion
However, it seems he is already expanding into a mom and kids clothing brand! When he announced his wife’s pregnancy last year, I was quite surprised to see the release of rompers and New Balance shoes. I learned that his wife’s brother is involved in the apparel business, which makes it understandable. It’s wonderful to see family working together like that. I’ve recently found myself choosing children’s clothes more often, and I can’t help but be drawn to cute designs. Kids’ clothing comes in a variety of colors and styles, making it enjoyable to choose. Sometimes, I even find myself wanting something similar for myself (laughs).
Thoughts on Money
Additionally, there are fans who say, “Ohtani isn’t interested in money,” but seeing him move forward with business ventures makes me think he does consider income. Of course, his playing ability and personality are fantastic, but he may also have a good sense for business. That’s another appealing aspect of him. Everyone has different perspectives on money, and I personally believe that “money isn’t everything,” yet I sometimes find myself buying too many snacks (laughs). Recently, I arrived too early somewhere and ended up buying a bunch of snacks at a nearby convenience store, which I regretted a little, but it became a fun memory.
