lot when I was a child; those melodies were always playing around the house. Because of those memories, hearing their songs now brings back a sense of nostalgia. Moreover, Matsutoya Yumi, Nakajima Miyuki, and Takeuchi Mariya are also incredibly captivating. Their lyrics are filled with deep emotions, and every time I listen to them, I make new discoveries. For example, just the other day, while listening to “Haru yo, Koi,” the word “spring” in the lyrics resonated with my own children, and I found myself tearing up. Music truly possesses a mysterious power, doesn’t it?

Actually, one day, I went to karaoke with friends and decided to sing Matsutoya Yumi’s “Yasashisa ni Tsutsumaretanara.” It’s a song I wouldn’t usually choose, but seeing everyone enjoying themselves inspired me to give it a try. I thought I sang it pretty well, but my friends laughed and said, “You can do better!” We all ended up having a great laugh together. Now, that song has become one of my favorites.
