I’m looking for a specific episode from the original Pokémon anime. In this episode, Misty is being pursued by someone who has feelings for her, and there’s a battle between that person and Ash. I think it was a two-part episode. I also have a vague memory of a

Remembering That Classic Pokémon Episode
I love how nostalgia can hit you out of nowhere, especially when it comes to shows like Pokémon. Recently, I was chatting with a friend about some classic episodes, and one that came to mind was this gem where Kasumi (Misty) is pursued by someone who clearly has a crush on her. It turns out, my friend was looking for that specific episode, and I was so thrilled to reminisce about it together! From what I gathered, it seems like this episode is part of the Orange Islands arc, specifically Episode 105 titled “Yuzu Gym! Type Battle! 3 vs 3.” In this episode, Kasumi steps up to help the younger sister of the gym leader, who is also in a bit of a romantic pickle—talk about a tangled web of feelings! It’s funny to think about how romantic pursuits can be so intense, even in a cartoon world filled with Pokémon battles. One of my favorite moments has to be when Ash battles the gym leader over his feelings for Kasumi. I remember watching it and thinking, “Wow, Ash really has his hands full!” Plus, there’s a scene where Kasumi and the gym leader’s sister are riding in a hot air balloon, which adds a whimsical touch to the whole situation. It’s those little quirks that make these episodes so memorable. Reflecting on this, I can’t help but chuckle at how I used to plan my snack stockpile for Pokémon marathons. I’d arrive at my friend’s house way too early, just to make sure I had enough chips and soda to fuel our viewing party!
