Official Duties and Breaks
Aiko is scheduled to stay at the
Imperial Stock Farm from May 2nd to 7th. This is part of an event where she will spend time with His Majesty the Emperor and Her Majesty the Empress, so it’s likely to be a significant time for her. The members of the Imperial Family have more official duties than we can imagine. Especially during this Golden Week, they continue to fulfill their responsibilities, carrying the expectations of the nation. While there hasn’t been an official announcement regarding Kako’s specific plans, it is mentioned that she will have a greeting ahead of her visit to Greece on May 23rd. I hope that amidst all these duties, they can find some time to refresh themselves.
Rest Between Duties
Members of the Imperial Family do take breaks between their official duties, but the officially designated “days off” are limited. There might be a commonality in that, like us ordinary people, they can’t take a complete break just because it’s a holiday.
