these societal issues. According to my friend, the employees resent President Minato. Indeed, his behavior during the initial press conference left a lasting impression on many. That poorly conducted press conference seemed to undermine his authority as president. Imagining the employees’ feelings, I can picture them internally lamenting, “What is our president doing?”
Impact of the Press Conference
I watched that press conference as well, and I never expected it to turn out so poorly. I was surprised to see President Minato struggling for words every time a reporter asked a question. Particularly, his attempts to explain by saying, “Our company is…” might have been an embarrassing moment for the employees. Such instances make it difficult for employees to take pride in their company.

However, as my friend pointed out, the employees might actually resent the victim. I can understand that sentiment. When incidents involve accidents or crimes, the presence of the victim becomes significant. Considering her suffering, it’s likely that the employees are grappling with complex emotions internally. Through my studies in law, I frequently think about the impact on the people behind the incidents. I realize how important emotions and human relationships are, not just the law. While working part-time at a judicial scrivener’s office, I often hear various people’s circumstances. In many cases, there are issues that cannot be resolved by law alone.
